Robert  is in his fifties and lives in Poole, Dorset. He says: "I have been having psychic experiences since I was about 7 years old, but have been working part-time with our spirit friends for the last five years, undertaking sittings, running circles and taking church services.

"My background is in education, which I have been involved in for over twenty years. I have a number of qualifications in education including, The Certificate in Education, which allows me to teach in Further Education, JEB Teacher's Advanced Diploma in Information Technology and an OCR NVQ Level 4 Certificate in Advice and Guidance. I am also a Member of the Institute for Learning."

"I am also taking part in the Spiritualist National Union's Platform Accreditation Scheme for working mediums. Which I hope will make all SNU mediums better platform workers for the SNU and the Spirit World. I am also a Class B member of the Spiritualist National Union.

He adds: "I started off my spiritual work by joining the committee of a local Spiritualist church while I was living in Parkstone, Poole. While on the committee I undertook church services as a Chair person, which was a very good grounding for me to later stand up and take the services as a medium. Just as a point of interest, I undertook the role of Medium Secretary for a couple of years and ended up as President in my last year at the church."

"I then went on to be a Speaker at the church and was privileged to work with a very good local medium, Glenda Perryman the then President of the church. She would give the messages from our discarnate friends and I would undertake the Reading and the Address. As I progressed, I was able to start giving messages as well. I will always be grateful to Glenda for her assistance in my early platform work."

"At present I am working part-time as a medium undertaking Divine Services in the Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire areas. I also enjoy doing Question and Answer Evenings at various churches, where I answer people’s questions on the Spirit World and then give a demonstration of mediumship."

Robert is no longer associated with the Spiritualist Church in Parkstone, Poole due to personal reasons and work commitments in his job at the college, which is very demanding. This however allows him to concentrate on his own Spiritual development and his work for the churches he serves in the three counties.
